Under the national strategy of accelerating the development of the bio-manufacturing industry, and to promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of Anhui's bio-manufacturing sector, the Anhui Bio-Manufacturing Industry Alliance was officially established at a founding ceremony held in Hefei on September 12.

The alliance, with the mission of "optimizing industrial resources, strengthening collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application, breaking through key technological bottlenecks, expanding application scenarios, and driving green economic transformation," aims to foster shared development among member units and jointly build a new layout for Anhui's bio-manufacturing industry that is high-end, intelligent, and green.

Anhui's bio-manufacturing industry has witnessed rapid growth, supported by national policies and technological breakthroughs. It has achieved a series of key technologies and innovative results with independent intellectual property rights and cultivated a number of competitive bio-manufacturing enterprises. The alliance's establishment is designed to integrate industrial resources, create a collaborative innovation platform for industry, academia, research, and application, promote technological innovation and commercialization, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry.

With the alliance's formation, guided by national industrial policies and market demand, it will continue to expand cooperation, deepen collaboration, and strive to build demonstration projects, cultivate leading enterprises, and establish industry standards, injecting strong "bio-energy" into the high-quality economic development of Anhui.
